Question about score black.........

Is it allot less rare this season??? In the 2 previous releases there have been 3 bobby ryan cards......and I have only ever seen the one in the black variant.....very tough cards to find.....already this year I have seen 4 on ebay in the first week of release.....and selling for fractions of what I paid for last years balck. I couldnt find print runs on panini's site any one have an answer for me....thanks

They seem to be pretty randomly inserted. I have broken 1 box and 1 jumbo pack, and I've got 2 Black parallels already (Cleary & Alfredsson) - there was a guy that pulled 3 out of a single box at my LCS on Friday.

It's still going to be a challenge finding individual players - with a 650-card set, even if it's 2 per box on average (for the sake of discussion) that's still a very long shot of being able to get Player X.

Way easier to come by this year. Every jumbo box I've seen broken in person has had at least one and often two blacks. Seen as many as 5 copies of a particular card listed already. The scarcity is replaced this year by the red back alternates.

much less rare this year, ive already found the Galiardi black (The first day it was released i believe) but the alternate red backs have taken their place as the rare cards

I think the ones that are going to be really hard finds will be the Rack Pack exclusive Red parallel. There's only about a dozen total on the Bay - if you're a fan of Tampa, Toronto, or Winnipeg you're in luck, as the guy that has them listed seemed to get that section from the checklist. I've got about 10 myself, hoping somebody out there will have a Gorges in short order.

Me too! After waiting two weeks for a better deal, I plunked down $20 for a Score Black Parallel.

Lo and behold, here's another one, just listed, with a "Buy It Now" of $4.95!

I didn't pull one in the retail box I bought, but after that I purchased a jumbo pack and pulled one, albeit it was a crappy Ryan Jones though. Seems to be more common now though, I never pulled a single one in all the packs of Score I cracked last year.
