Real or Fake.....Have My Doubts
Hey guys.....need some opinions on whether you think this card was altered. I bought it from someone a while back on here and just noticed some of the issues with the card. Notice the marks around the window at the top and lower right. This patch is such a beast that it could be pressure marks OR it could be where someone cut and put back together. Please let me know what you think......and please if you are going to shout fake!!! Please give me a reason why.....thanks in a advance for the help.

I'd say real just by looking at it. I've seen many ridiculous Limited Logo's of Backstrom with the wings of the Caps logo.

Although I don't have a Caps patch swatch to compare, the nature of the material, especially the red in the lower left inside the stitching next to the white seems unusual. Looks like a patch from something off of something other than a jersey. I'm sure other Caps jersey experts will be able to chime in.

Seems genuine to me, but it's pretty hard to determine only by the one scan you've uploaded. If you upload some pictures of the card from various angles such as the side, top, bottom and close-up of the window, that'll give us a better chance of determining whether or not it's a fake.
