    Hey everyone, just signed up here recently.

    I collected hockey cards as a kid, but that kinda tapered off along with my interest in sports as I got older. As an adult I've started collecting a number of other things (Hot Wheels, collect and play Magic cards, Lego, magazines; yeah I'm a bit prone to collecting!) and I have a brother in law who is a massive Boston Bruins fans, so in the past few years his enthusiasm over their play-off runs has kinda been rubbing off on me and we've been watching more hockey at my house again. I decided to pick up a few packs of cards from Walmart on a whim - I'm no stranger to the toy aisles where they stock them due to my other collecting habits :D Well, the inevitable happened - I started doing some research online, found this forum, found Cardboard Connection, etc and now I'm working on base sets of 12/13 Score and UD Series 1, plus whatever inserts/hits I pull along the way... really liking the look of 13/14 Score (much better than 12/13, actually) and looking forward to Series 1 in the fall.

    I've also grabbed some other random packs and blasters here and there just to see what else is out there - really like Upper Deck SP Authentic but find it a bit pricy. I'm interested in non-sports cards as well, especially Topps Star Wars releases with artwork, and not still-frames from movies, but I guess this isn't the forum for that...

    Welcome to SCF, I find myself collecting lots of things too (Pez dispensers, bobbleheads, cards, IP autos, etc). I think it may be a disease. 'collecting-itis'!
