IMO, it's Dale Hunter's hit on Pierre Turgeon.
Then when the Islander's come back to protect Turgeon, Hunter turtles.

Prime example of a coward.

Chris Simon's slashing Ryan Hollweg directly in the face was pretty brutal.

Matt Cookes stomping on Karlssons ankle or Hunters hit on Turgeon. Cooke got away with way too much on that play, not matter what anyone says.

Those plays are right up there for sheer violence - I will also nominate the Chara on Pacioretty hit, as well as the response by Chara that Max "kinda jumped into" the stanchion and the back-up by Dr. Mark Recchi.

However, to shift gears and talk about things that made you just embarrassed as a fan....
