Question Regarding 13/14 Score
I am collecting the regular Hot Rookies set. And as most of you know, Damien Brunner's RC is in the base set. I heard that it was because there wasn't enough room in the Hot Rookie set or something like that.
My question is, did they do this to any other players besides Brunner or Ondrej Palat(Tampa Bay)? I'd just like to know if there's any other rookies in the base set.

While they do not have the hot rookie letters, they do have the top right rookie logo.

I find it kind of odd that Panini would put a first year stud like Brunner as a base variation. The Red Brunner is a pretty sweet hit

Another reason why Brunner didn't make the Hot Rookie subset was due to the fact we wanted as many Hot Rookie autographs in the program as possible. At the time the checklist was built we were still working on a deal with Brunner, which we have recently acquired. In order to stay redemption free, we decided it was best to remove him from the Hot Rookie and Hot Rookie autograph set but still provide collectors a way to get his RC. We're hoping collectors appreciate the redemption free product with the move.
