Blog: My 2013-14 All-Value Team predictions
Hello everyone,
Some of you might recall a thread I created last summer about players that could pickup in value.
I wrote a similar blog, except this time I'm assigning players by positions (like an ''all-star team'').

Looking forward to your comments.

Dont think Vasquez will break out like that, more likely that Cousins or McLemore will get that spike on the Kings.
If Curry makes the allstar team this year and stays healthy his stuff might pick up a little bit again, but i dont think it will reach peak levels again unless they reach the conference semis or better.
If the Harden/Howard combo will work like Houston hopes and they will be able to secure a 1-4 seed and allstar team selection you could definitely be right that Harden's value will pick up
Not to sure about Bargnani, he will probably come of the bench in limited minutes (looks to me more like an upgraded version of Steve Novak).
Greg Monroe could break out but a lot of uncertainties surround the Pistons, they will have a lot of players looking to prove themselves (Josh Smith, Jennings, Caldwell-Pope, Drummond).
I dont see it happen with Evan Turner, he had all the room to prove himself last year with Bynum not playing and he will turn 25 before the season starts, that should be the age your a pro instead of a prospect.
I know theres a lot of hype surrounding Oden to the Heat, but the kid hasnt played in 3 years and ive lost the count on how many knee surgeries he has had, i would put my money on it.
Valanciunas might be the best bet as the reigning summer league MVP.
Im liking these:
PG John Wall (Wizards could make a big leap if they all stay healthy)
SG Gordon Hayward (not 100% sure if hes ready, but he will need to provide scoring with Jefferson/Millsap/Mo gone)
SF Jimmy Butler (think he can be a similar player to Kawhi Leonard)
PF Jared Sullinger (will get a lot of room now that KG/Pierce are gone)
C Jonas Valanciunas (looks more mature and stronger, and summer league MVP)
6th Marshon Brooks (Celtics lost a lot of scoring, which he can provide)
Other possibilities:
Kanter/Favors (Jefferson/Millsap gone so these 2 will get their chance)
Cousins (Kings are his team now with Tyreke gone)
Eric Bledsoe (gets to play starter minutes with Phoenix)
Shumpert (came in halfway last season after serious injury, looked great during the playoffs)

Awesome list! I agree with many, especially Wall, Butler and Bledsoe.
I agree that Oden is risk, I would only touch super deals. I did sell one immediately after his signing so the hype could pick-up quick.
