Card Storage Boxes
Hey fellas just got a quick question about these boxes. I got some boxes the other day, 200 ct, 800 ct, 1600 ct. Some "work" and others do not "work". Let me explain:
200 ct- the cards lay on there side nice and neat like, I like that, thats good.
800 ct- the cards when you put them on there side theres lots of "sloppy play". I try putting the cards in the top loaders on there side and then you can't close the lid because the toploader sticks up past the top of the box. No good.
1600 ct- everything here is perfect, but how many cards are you supposed to fit in there? certainly not 1600 lol.
On a side note, the Jammers you get at Wal-Mart are perfect. 4 dividers and it holds 1100 cards.

I use 5000ct monster boxes for base storage, sorted by team. Same sized for inserts but all inserts are in penny sleeves.
My traders are all in penny sleeves turned -upwards in 800ct boxes with the top cut off to make it easy to sort.

I dont mean to hi-jack your thread but i have a few questions about card storage boxes as well. Im looking for a box that will hold about like 200 cards. most (like 95%) of my pc cards are in top loaders and team bags so i need something that will house the cards in top loaders and team bags are there any boxes like this and if so which ones would work? Would be looking for one for the Galiardi cards and the other 200 would be team pc cards and such

They do if you move the cards around alot but I have them as more of a sorting tray for traders. I do use an 800ct for current-rostered/prospects base and low-end cards for autos of the Isles players. That seems to work just fine.

look up boxes for graded cards. They should work so the cards aren't shoved in tight.

For top loader, the 3000 count does the job, keep them tight and fit in all rows (about 800 cards in top loader will fit in a 3000 count box). I have all my traders and PC stored in about 23 X 3000 count boxes and I use the 5000 count for base.
