Does anyone know anything about PANINI basketball cards?
I was just wondering if anyone knew about the Italian Panini basketball cards. Does anyone know the years they made these, or even better know where I can get a checklist?
Thanks!

It looks like they were made from 89/90 - 94/95, from a quick search on beckett. They are also stickers, not "true cards" I think.

You can probably get the complete checklists on beckett.com

That's what I though too - but I came across some older cards that threw my "Panini Knowledge" off. There was a 1966 Doug Moe card on ebay that I had never heard of. I see some early 1970's cards of Italian players, but someone else told me these early 70's sets also had a couple of NBA players.
Thanks for your help!

hello
to my knowledge the first panini basketball stickers are from the late 60's. they include stickers of european HOFamers like Meneghin, Cosic or Belov, stickers of american players in european team or national US olympics team. Checklist are difficult to build as these stickers set are multisport sets.
in the mid to late 80's there is some set with NBA players (Jordan, Bird, Magic ...) in multisport set
the first all NBA sets are the spanish one from 88 and 89
and from 1990 to 1999 there is one set per season sometimes edited for the US but mostly for european market.
i have plenty of these stickers, just let me now if you need more informations
