    I am checking ebay daily for JPM cards and hockey stuff and I would like your point of view about people selling pieces of sheetmetal like the following link

    this is completely legit. they parcel out the sheet metal and often people cut it into smaller chunks and sell it as so. in fact I have a few pieces similar.
