    printing plates

all these printing plates have come out w/ the new national treasures product

do they still hold the 1/1 value?

i've seen them going on ebay for under $10 and have picked up a couple myself...

i feel that in the past printing plates were harder to find around that price...

let me know what you think...

My thought is that throwing all the plates into one product really kills the value....also, topps used to have four different color plates per card. I get the idea behind the 1/1 marking but really the plate for each card is 1/4....

Printing plate values have really plummeted over the years. I personally don't like them because they are ugly and most of the time you can't even tell who is on the card. They aren't something I'd throw away but they are certainly not something I actively chase.

I think it was a horrible idea of putting them all in the same product. It was cool to randomly pull a plate back in the day when buying packs or a box. Kind of weird that they're guaranteed in a box now, albeit an expensive box but that allure to randomly pull one is pretty much dead. Thanks Panini..

Rather have coloured images than single coloured plates
