13-14 O-Pee-Chee Blank Back Rookie print run
Does anyone have any idea of the print run of this years Blank Back variation rookie cards ?, I've been thinking about picking up a Scott Laughton one and would like to get an idea of what a reasonable price would be to pay for one.
Thanks for the input

One sold on ebay under 40$ mainly it was a offer accepted so we do not know the final sale price. Maybe $20-$30 range would be my guess as the player is not rated in the lowest but not high at all either. In 2010, the retro blank backs, 2 seller on ebay say they are /5. Not sure where they take this information but probably no more then ten cards since you do not get many in a case and there is 600 cards in the set. So they must be really low.

Blanks backs have been more in circulation the past few years. While there has not been a confirmed print run (or every since UD does not even release the information about blank backs) it most likely won't be /5.
Although I can say that rookie blank backs can be frustrating if you do not acquire one early on. The Laughton that was OBO'd sold for 34$ if that helps (I am not the buyer nor am I the seller)

My understanding (and that can vary year to year) is that there's no more than 15 copies out there for each player. Very hard to find. Even if you get 3-4 in a case, that's still a very small percentage of the overall checklist so getting to find a copy of a specific player can sometimes be a real challenge.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Thanks for the responses, I just managed to pick up a Laughton for $15 plus shipping which I feel is a pretty good deal.

For what it's worth, I was the seller of the Laughton on Ebay for $34. I thought it was a fair price for a pretty scarce rookie card. Given the collation issues, I wouldn't be surprised if large chunks of them sit unopened together somewhere for some time. $15 was an absolute steal.
