    Something smells fishy here...

Unless he had the shakes when he signed this, I think there's something wrong here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Derek-Jeter-...item3f28545aab

I don't see anything fishy about that. That's a pretty standard Jeter signature.

If its Steiner authenticated I'd feel pretty safe buying it? Isn't that like the official authentication place for the Yankees?

On another note I have seen some fishy Puig balls etc...he writes it just like when you and me when we were learning cursive. He is so inconsistent too with no big consistencies on anything. Some of the stuff with no COA seems fishy to me.

I got two decoys signed at a game and it looks like he signed the second one on a slant. He's a really weird grapher..

And you always here people how they want players to make it readable. Well here is what you get, 3rd grade hand writing.

Its like Jean Segura....I'm not sure if he is putting his number on it or saying Hi. Would someone tell that guy there are two slashes not one on a number sign #.

I wonder if his will evolve over time like a lot of foreign players do.

You can't even tell if that's a steiner hologram. It almost doesn't even look like one. Plus I would think a certificate would've came with the ball.

Steiner also provides a laminated, credit card sized card that has the matching authentication number on it. I've seen it before where the card is missing tho. My personal rule of thumb is if your not happy with the autograph or feel it is a fake, don't buy it. You're the one who has to look at.

Ever sign a baseball? Tough. Ever have to sign 300 of them in a row? Anyone would have some variance to it.
