Talking Got my cards back from BGS

OK, so I was pretty happy with this....

I opened the box and on top was my Stockton RC...
    It was graded a 9! With subs of 9.5, 9, 9, 8.5

Beneath that was my LeBron Topps RC.
    It was graded a 9. Subs of 9.5, 9.5, 9, 9

So good so far, then to the 86 Fleer Bird.
    It was graded a 9! With subs of 9.5, 9, 9, 9

And last, I had my vintage 75-76 Topps Jabbar/Barry/McAdoo graded an 8 by Beckett Vintage Grading.

So, all in all, I was extremely pleased. The cards all increase in value now.

The Bird was worth $30 raw. Graded 9 it books at $160.
The LeBron was $20 raw. Graded 9 it books at $50.
The Stockton was $25 raw. Graded 9 it books at $50.
The Topps Scoring Leader card was $15 raw. I don't care what it books at! :icon_roll

Everyone was naysaying on getting them graded because of the whole "depreciation" aspect if you score 8 or lower, but everything went really well, and it has me thinking of sending some more to get graded. It would have been nice to have one of them grade a 9.5 gem mint, but I guess that is pretty rare, huh?

    Next up?

    73-74 Topps Wilt Chamberlain
    88-89 Dennis Rodman RC
    73-74 Topps Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

I'm thinking of sending those 3 anyway.

Anyone else had positive experiences with BGS? Cuz I am crazy pleased! :new_blueg

THanks for the tip. I'll remember that for my vintage!! ALthough, if it is really gonna grade high (like an 8), i will go BVG again.
