Base /25 (2) - Clyde Drexler, Deron Williams

At first glance, Panini Signatures' "base cards" seem really neat as they are numbered to 25. Makes you think you are getting a high-end idea in a mid-end price point. But then you see the fine print. There are three separate categories: Chase Stars, Chase Legends and Chase Rookies. All total, they combine to create an 800 card set (Stars 400, Legends 250, Rookies 150). And you only get two in a box. Good luck on that set! In actuality, the 200-card Auto Set is the base set and these are inserts. Confused yet? Cards are designed with the player featured in color and then a larger background shot in black and white. They are on a card stock reminiscent to Prime Signatures.

Jan Vesely Base Autograph

Alan Anderson Base Die Cut Autograph (on-card)

Mario Chalmers Signatures Film Red Autograph Redemption

Each box will contain three autographs. There are no relics in Signatures. The main autograph set is the 200-card base set. Then there are many parallels and variations from there. Apparently, everything is numbered except for the base auto and the regular die cut version. The Die Cut version only has 150 subjects and the other set, Signatures Variations, only has 50 subjects. Each set has a Red (numbered to 49 or less), Green (numbered to 5 or less) and Platinum (1/1) parallel versions.
