    Corey Crawford gets Long-Term Contract Extension

    Today has to be one of the better days in Crawford's life. It's his day with The Cup and he's received a new 6-year, $36M contract extension from the Hawks.

    Not a big fan of Crawford, Hope he lives up to the pay.


    Hawks have overpayed twice this year, first Bickell now Crawford.

    More than adequate in two Cup wins. Better in the playoffs than the regular season - he steps up. Most teams would gladly pay 6 Mill for that to happen once every 3 years.

    Good for him to get that kind of money.

    He's fantastic for an average goalie. The team in front of him is good, and he wouldn't have a Cup if he played in Minnesota or New York.

    I agree with most others here: He's being overpaid. Let's see if he can proove critics wrong.
