First look: In The Game’s Enforcers II
http://www.beckett.com/news/2013/09/...-enforcers-ii/
Remember the backlash In The Game received after Enforcers came out in 2011?
That’s not stopping the company from putting out a sequel. The cards will include faux blood splatter once again, which is one of the reasons critics were against it a few years ago. They saw it as promoting violence.
Two years has passed, and it’s time for another set.
Each box of Enforcers II will have 12 cards with four autographs, three game-used memorabilia and five base cards. Enforcers II is scheduled for an early-October release.
“Armed with a great amount of collectors’ input, we went out to sign the tough guys that collectors wanted in the product,” Dr. Brian Price wrote on ITG’s blog.
Players in the set include Steve Carlson, Jeff Carlson, Dave Hanson, Tim Hunter, Mick Vukota, Gordie Howe, Ted LIndsay, Ronnie Stern, Darren Langdon, Chris Simon, Dennis Bonvie, Lyndon Byers and more.
The autographs will feature single, dual and triple signature cards. Many of the cards will highlight great fights putting these guys on the same card.
In addition, In The Game is adding Dual Tough Patches with a jumbo patch on each side of the card.
The base set will include 90 cards with subsets such as Goalie Battles, 3000 PIM Club, League Leaders, Tag Teams, Tale of the Tape and Bloody Battles.

pretty excited to see this checklist. From various posts that Doctor Price has made, and what I've read so far in press releases (like this one) there's going to be a bunch of cards I'll be chasing (including that Hanson triple!)

Wow, Patrick Roy in and enforcers set? AWESOME.
I hope they do a dual fight strap card with Roy and Osgood.
How incredible would THAT be? Or even Better, one of those dual jumbo patch cards of both guys(not that I will be able to get my hands on either one).

As a tough guy collector I live for this set! Looks awesome, cannot wait for it's release. I'm glad to see Chris Simon made it onto the checklist and I like that they are branching out a little bit and not just sticking exclusively to bonafide NHL enforcers.

They need Clouts, Hextall, Steve Shields and Ollie Kolzig if they are going to have brawling goalies. Ozzie is 6 inches shorter than Roy, but still managed to each his lunch handily in the first tilt.
Kolzig only threw a chank twice in his career, but even the Goon forwards wanted none of it.Last edited by centrehice; 09-05-2013 at 11:00 AM.

Loving the looks of this with the dual and triple autos and definitely love the Dual Tough Patches, would love to see a Roy/Osgood dual tough patch although I'd never be able to afford it it would be sweet to see.
I just want a Rob Ray / Dennis Vial dual auto and I'd be thrilled!
Love that ITG decided to make this a continuation on Enforcers and kept the same design instead of making it a new completely different Enforcers release.

Dennis Vial. That guy was insanely tough. Like hitting a bag of concrete.
