05 Topps Turn Back the Clock set ???

anyone know anything about a set I built from Topps cards purchased using the nickle packs at first, then 2 new players are released to hobby shops every week.It might be a 'Throwback' or Turn Back the Clock or something, but it contains RC's from 05 as well....I was wondering if cards like the Caddy or the retired players actually carried any bv's....blah blah blah, can anyone help me with a little info? Thanks Guys

Beckett.com doesn't list any bv's for them & they don't even list who the last 3 cards of the set are.........

I guess not worth anything, but it was fun to build with kids

I think they will be worth something, they're just N/A right now. I knew who the last 3 players were as I have 2 complete sets myself. I was just making a point that Beckett hasn't even updated their list.

Rick, I think they will be worth something as well. I really like the look of them too. I also think I read in a early 2006 Beckett issue that they would try to book this set, we will see I guess, thx for the reply

No problem Dan. I also like the look of the set. In fact, I liked the look so much that when I saw Alex Smith was signing TTM, I went to the card store and got another to send to him which did come back signed. :)

dealers are sent litterally hundreds of each player each week. They were supposed to go to people who bought packs when they came in (which mine handed out). It really is designed for kids/young collectors since from a purely numerical point of view there are litterally tens of thausands of each card out.

I was at a shop last night and saw the owner had a set for sale, $29.95. I almost laughed in his face. I have 2 complete sets and almost a complete set. I do like them though.
