WHAT WE PULLED

Two years ago, In The Game unveiled a new product celebrating the tough guys of hockey called Enforcers. With the success of that product, ITG has brought it back with Enforcers II. The focus is on the men who don't really show up often on the primary stat sheet, except for penalty minutes (P.I.M.). The base set breaks down with many subsets, some of which partner two subjects. The design is a rehash from the original product, but that's fine as it maintains continuity. It is nice to see ITG continue the card numbering where the original stopped, just to hammer home how this is a follow-up.

Enforcers II contains an amazing seven hits (4 autos and 3 relics) per box. How many products on the market contain that kind of yield for the price point? Exactly! Most autographs will be individual players, but there are also duel (get it) autos and a triple auto. As for the game used items, that's where variety comes into play. Fans of Enforcers will recognize sets such as Instigator and Combatants, but this releases packs more punch than that. Goalies get in the action with Pugilistic Puck Stoppers and Between The Pipes Battles. Fans of quad memorabilia get their fair share with Tough Franchises, Patch Them Up as well as the always popular Complete Jerseys. Fight Straps are back along with the chance to get a unique piece, Dome Fasteners. Want a challenge, Nameplates give you the opportunity to spell out the last name of your favorite "goon". Finally, there are Tough Patches and even Duel Patches.
