it is too vague to even argue with.
I have no issue with scholars who claim Josephus' writings were altered or even other historical writings were altered to reflect Jesus, but to say he never existed, even as a person, will require more than just a theory.

This is apparently a very large deal this week in Europe, and especially the UK. I think that Europeans are socially more aware than Americans, and anything real that brings banter to an argument is not laughed at, and thrown aside.
You only have to look at the behaviour of the Spanish Inqusition, The Crusades, and most behaviour during the Dark Ages to realize at how repressed people were based on the paranoia that Christianity had created until that point.
That transferred paranoia is reason to have left Europe and founded colonies in the USA and South Africa.

Why is it that atheist invest so much energy in disproving Christianity? I don't believe in aliens, ghosts or Bigfoot, but I don't feel motivated to spend countless hours proving that I am correct. It has an air of clinical OCD to it.

And Christianity does not have the air of OCD?
I have never had an institution appear at my door on a Saturday morning, unanounced, trespassing, and trying to sell me some ideology other than a Christian based one.
Why is it that Christians while peddling their wares for the most part illegally, are given a pass?
