Canucks flying skate logo burned in my head.

Am I the only one who have the canucks skate logo in the head forever? I had this idea after seeing the Bure patches from the Cup 12. I just bought two canucks jersey's this week, I may be wrong, but those are beauties.

Anyone else loving those colors like me?

Yes indeed, was thinking of doing a top 10 fave jerseys thread (excluding obvious, fave team ) and this one is right up there!

I absolutely LOVE those jerseys and logo. This is the one I grew up with and identify with.

The Aquilini's should bring it back!

I think the day this jersey returns to the league I become a Canucks fan only for that. I can go this far. I can't get enough of all the versions with that color scheme. But the white is just behond beauty.

Those are really nice, but my personal favourite when it comes to Canucks jerseys would be this one:

Personally, I don't like any incarnation of the orca. I think they should take the Johnny V and slap that on the front of their jerseys.

That said, the skate is the best. Why they never put it on the front of the flying V jerseys I'll never know. That would have looked good.

I undestand that the Orca is a reference to the art of the first nations (inuits in particular), but the skate is incredible. It screams Bure even he himself doesn't care about the city. During my young age I remember staying up late at night just to see him play (I'm in Québec) and was rewarded almost every time.

The yellow is great, too, but I give the nod to the white. The black is doing some serious job also.

Dunno about the skate in front of the V. Never though of that, will have to think. The inclusion of the white element into the logo itself make a fantastic clash with the others colors.

Not quite. It is a reference to the Ownership group at the time the logo came out, Orca Bay Sports Entertainment. It was done in that particular style as a nod to the indigenous Salish nation, not Inuit.

but the skate is incredible. It screams Bure even he himself doesn't care about the city. During my young age I remember staying up late at night just to see him play (I'm in Québec) and was rewarded almost every time.

To me it screams Linden and McLean, but that's just me.
