Something I just noticed about Conservatives in general....

"resign, take back, repeal, cut, restrain, lower, constrict"

These are words I keep hearing over and over and over from members of the Republican Party... and I thought for a moment... it's all I hear from members of the Republican Party today.

The GOP has no new ideas what so ever.. only ideals to take back, cut, restrain, etc etc etc anything any democrat wants to do... not offering a single thing they would do instead.

Health Care? "We need to repeal Obamacare".. ok? Replace it with what? ....... *crickets*

Taxes? "We need to cut taxes"... ok? Pay for the country how?

Obama? "We need to impeach that socialist"... no comment on this one lol

The point is.. why is one party trying to do things, and the others seemingly sole purpose is to do everything to prevent them from doing it? When did this craziness start?

I think you are looking at it from a progressive standpoint, in fact I know you are.... Here's my take
1- Healthcare. We've tried the socialized form of healthcare and it's a mess. It is responsible for a lot of the problems we have today. That being said, why do we have to have a huge new one size fits all plan? I have my theories. Maybe we could have just tweaked what was already in place? Loosen up the restrictions?

2-Taxes- We are always for the lowest taxes possible. We overspend ridiculously as a whole and we need to reing that in now. I believe Paul Ryan has started that process so I'll give him some credit, as well as Obama for signing it. Truth be told, taxes are surely going to have to go up to pay for this mess. we need to pay it, cut the legs out of the monster, and start again with minimal taxes and programs.

3- Well the only reason I would have to impeach him was his debacle in Benghazi. But no liberal wants to truly discuss that coverup. It is true this President does a lot of shady things with the justice dept, rhetoric, closing of unstaffed parks and monuments as a political tool, and the friday appointments ect. Not sure that's impeachable though lol. But he, and anyone that thinks like him right or left, should never see a position of power.

    On Obamacare.

If you remember the Republicans wanted to give the power of Healthcare to each individual state, and let the voters of that state decide what's best for their state, and not have it federally ran.

I agree with sanfran on the Benghazi cover up, that was a shame that it happened, and even more of shocker that it is still being covered up. Nixon did far less, and was forced out of office.

Let me ask you this. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being on the brink of economic collapse and 10 being experiencing exponential growth, where do you think the average Democrat sees our nation's economy right now? I would say that most conservatives see us being in the 1-4 range.

I see it as a 3 and getting worse by the week. The problem is the lefties would just raise taxes until oblivion.

As an outsider, I would see you as a 3-5 with a penchant for willingly placing yourself in a 1 situation every so often.

*smacks forehead*... instead of answering the question.. you guys attacked me and told me "I don't get it" in your own way... this is exactly what I am talking about...

FYI.. Obamacare is based on the 1993 Heritage Foundation alternative to "Hillary Care" and is a near carbon copy of what Mitt Romney did in Massachusetts. Because a democrat made it actually happen.. republicans went from loving it, to hating it with a passion.

On the "1-10" scale.. we're at a 4. Where could we be without republican obstructionism? Who knows... but with a proper infrastructure stimulus instead of more tax cuts and financial bs.. we would be in a lot better place today. Imagine that.. creating blue collar jobs and starting a more than 3 trillion dollar project that is MANDATORY within the next 10-15 years to save our country.. crazy I know. Instead republicans demanded another 300 billion dollars in tax cuts as part of the stimulus and people on wall street got that much richer.

Now... anyone want to tell me what republicans have offered this country in the way of a new idea? Within the next few weeks the president plans to start Immigration reform. Believe it or not a lot of republican senators (Rubio, McCain, Graham, etc etc) are on the same page with the President on this issue.. they all agree on the Dream Act.. How much do you want to bet that all of them (McCain has already flipped on this 3-4 times) oppose the president when he purposes it?

FYI.. The Dream act was another republican "idea" from years ago that they hate today lol

btw.. sanfran.. you want to impeach obama over Americans getting attacked and not liking his response?

Where were you calls to impeach George W Bush after he:

-Knowingly propagated false intelligence on Iraq to lead us to war
-Allowed a CIA Agents covert identity to be revealed because her husband wouldn't lie about yellow cake evidence in Africa
-Literally let hundreds of people die in New Orleans because the horse trainer he named to the head of FEMA couldn't do his job and for 5 days people were drowning or locked in a stadium
-Allowed enough de regulation of the financial sector to cause the country to collapse in 2007-08

Where were you calls for impeachment then? You "people" on the right impeached Clinton for getting a BJ... You want to impeach Obama because he's black (whether you personally do or not I do not care... most of the far right feel this way)... but when the president who DESERVED impeachment more than anyone not named Nixon in history is in office... you are silent. I hate that hypocrisy. All it boils down to is the right wing cannot accept it when a president that's not one of them is elected. Get over it.. the country doesn't want another Bush or Reagan.. move on! Start working WITH not AGAINST
