    Cup Checklist is live

Cup checklist has been posted here http://www.cardboardconnection.com/h...eck-cup-hockey

Other than a Trio Shield Booklet of the Sedins with Kesler, nothing but the base and parallels for me to chase.

I noticed that while the base set is 90 cards, only 68 players have the jersey parallel (the missing players are roughly 50/50 split between current and retired players), and only 58 have a patch parallel, whereas last year everyone but Bossy, Hull and Orr had jersey parallels. Surprised that UD would leave out so many players from the main parallels in their flagship product - curious if there's any rhyme or reason behind it, whether they are running low on memorabilia for some players, or just chose to trim the parallel sets down to hit a certain target of total number of cases.

    Did I see right here?
A damn Tom Barrasso memorabilia card from Upper Deck!?

I knows yhat he got two 20th Anniversary 10-11 Upper Deck card (french and english) but here is really something new!
But of course it's a 1/1 card from a heavily expensive and extremely after-soughted set....
So it will be the forst time since 02-03 that he gets a genuine UD card!

I didn't knew that UD got a stick used by Barrasso.
But they have a lot pieces from his blocker&gloves and his Sabres jersey (they never used his tags, numbers, patches, emblems, nameplates, logos etc from his Sabres jersey so this far) plus of course the stick!

Really fun and totally unexecpted but it will be tough for me to get that card for sure....!

Finally an easy year on the pocket book, Tavares with only a few cards. And Bossy only has base card with parallel and an enshrinement.

Heh, it's only fair with the Sedins occupying two-thirds of the card that it comes home to it's rightful place - though there's a Canucks collector in Ontario who I'm guessing might break the bank for the trio shield... they scooped up last year's Sedin dual shield for something like $1,350, I'd hate to see how high they'd be willing to go for the trio.

33 Cizikas cards/plates to chase. Mostly plates. Not as much as I expected thankfully.

Why is someone in Ontario collecting Canucks cards?? Any of them in particular, or just the crazy high-end stuff?? I've never had a lot of serious competition for Kesler.......

And speaking of Kesler and getting back on topic, there's a LOT of Kesler in this year's Cup :/ I was hoping he'd be a little more ignored coming off two sub-par seasons.......Oh well eh?

No Lafleur or Beliveau, that's a little sad. Beliveau I can understand with the lack of signing ability..........Other than that, the same old same old Stars of Yesteryear. Sigh..............

Never mind, I found some Lafleurs and Beliveaus a little further down

I really like the look of the product this year. It's a shame it's wasted on such a shallow rookie class. No way I'm buying boxes, but will definitely be snatching up some singles.
