Habs Fans - Galchenyuk or Gallagher?

Fun topic for discussion - if you could collect only one of these young guns (not just their YG, but in general) who would it be?

Gotta go with Galchenyuk. Far higher ceiling when it comes to what he can accomplish in his career than Gallagher. Don't get me wrong, I love Gallagher, and think he is the type of player every player and coach wants on their team, I just don' see superstar potential from him.

not a habs fan but ill chime in, if solely based on playing ability as your PC, Galchenyuk has it beat, BUT be prepared with a deep wallet. Gallagher is still a decent young gun, and much more affordable, so i guess u could decide between the two in reality based on a budget stand point, as both are great habs rookies

I will go against the grain, maybe just because i love watching Gallagher play with so much drive, they showed a clip of him in Pee-wee and he was the same than, just going all out straight at the net like a madman and in the net the puck went. Like the saying goes, skill without will is nothing, not that Galchenyuk has no will, but Gallagher's will to compete and score is off the charts, and that goal he scored last night, pretty sick shot as well.

Galchenyuk, Gallagher was a nice surprise, but Galchenyuk could be the franchise center we haven't had in decades.
