When should I start getting worried?
I bought an item off ebay ohh about a month ago or so. I then went on vacation and confirmed with the seller that it was OK if I pay after I go on vacation. The seller was relatively new and had several negative feedbacks, but all of them said he sent their money back because items were damaged. So I figured it would be OK to buy from him since even if it didn't work out I'd still get my money back. So I ended up buying the card for 115 dollars and some shipping costs. I eventually sent him the payment after I got back from vacation and we were talking pretty smoothly on a daily basis. He received it this past Friday and said he would give me a DC# when he sent the item out Monday. Well, this past weekend he now has the "no longer a registered user" tag on eBay. I have sent him several messages (which I am not even sure he is receiving--do you still receive messages from people on ebay when you arent a registered user?)asking if he sent it out and for the DC#. He has not responded yet and this is strange because he was usually very timely with his responses. Just wondering if I should start worrying about this yet or not and if anyone has experienced anything like this before and any other advice. Thanks, and I will keep everyone posted!

And another note--I am only 15 and will be very disappointed if this doesn't work out...it took a while for me to save up 115 and I had to sell a lot of my cards to do so :(

Yes, that happened to me with a Michael Vick auto on ebay once. I paid and was still waiting for the card after about a week and a half so I went to ebay to send the seller a message but it said he was no longer a registered user. I didnt get the card or my money back. Same thing probably has happened to you, but you never know. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you

Ask ebay for his info and try to email him. It also usually says his email when you get a message alert via ebay. Try to cancel your money order right away if no response. Sorry to hear about this.

This just happened to me too. I paid with paypal and filed a disput after 3 weeks of not getting it. He was "no longer registered on ebay" also. He did have 100% pos feedback (over 200) and he sent my money back through paypal. I hope it all works out for ya.

If I were you, I'd try my best to get in contact with him. However, your chances are slim of working anything out. I find it suspicious that someone would leave e-bay or some other site during a transaction. This usually means that they plan to rip you off. That's not always the case, but what else are you to think?
Thanks,
