This last week, I have continued the Chase Field Legacy customs.

The 1st EVER Dbacks game. Travis Lee was a perfect candidate for Game 1 as he has the first ever DBack hit.

Game 6: This is the first ever DBack victory.

Game 81: Devon White's final game in a DBack uniform.

Game #213: Travis Lee's final game in a DBacks uniform.

As soon as I can find a color printer, these beauties will be in the mail and hopefully auto'd!

    Thanx for the look,

Well, it's been a bit since my last posts for Customs. I am just making them now to print when I get home. I have been trying some new stuff and trying my hand at the diecuts.

My rendition of 2013 Topps' "Cut to the Chase." Personally, I like the old DBacks colors.

Putz "Aces of the Diamond" Diecut Custom:

The Customs are nothing special but will look good with an AU on it. I have gone ahead and completed a complete DBacks Pitching staff "Aces of the Diamond" set. The Putz is just a sample of what I am trying these days.

I haven't been around much lately, work has been "eventful."

So, I have decided that August 2014 will be it for my time serving in/with the military. Afghanistan has been all but fun and I have come to terms with realizing that it's time for a career change. Being Military Intelligence has more than ran its course and I am grateful to have learned with some of the best that no one will ever hear about; which is for the better because hearing about the Military members these days is either due to misconduct or the ultimate sacrifice.

Which reminds me... take this weekend to remember those fallen and hold your families close because its those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so we may enjoy a weekend like this one.

Anyways, back to the matter at hand.....

Since I will be returning to the States before the 2014 NFL Season kicks off, I might as well prepare for possibly going to some games. I am from Phoenix but am FAR from a Cardinals fan. Now, understanding the Niners only play once a year in Phoenix, I still might go to some games just because I can. I have decided to create some replica tickets from last year's Cardinals games. Since I was stationed in Fort Stewart, GA the Jacksonville Jaguars were about a 2 hr drive south. Some of my friends went to a few games. They sent me their "e-tickets" and I decided that a boring-ol-eticket was not very flattering to obtain an Autograph on.

    Here is the actual e-ticket...

    E-Ticket_Jags_Cards.jpg

    Boring, right?!

Well, after a quick google search, I found the season ticket format for the Jaguars....

(It's blurry due to how small the image was in comparison to the size needed for the ticket)

    Picture1.jpg

Now this is where the fun happens.....

I decided that anyone could have an e-ticket and anyone could make a custom using that format, but I wanted to take the ticket and makes it into a replica that still have all the same information as the e-ticket.

    BIFF.... BAM... BOOM.... and EUREKA....

    Jags_Cards_Ticket.jpg

It's nothing special, but it was A LOT of fun to make! Unfortunately, my location hinders from printing out the ticket to show you a finished product; however, 11 more weeks and this puppy will be ready and in-hand to obtain some sigs for Training Camps!

If you made it this far, thanks for the look. I am not as skilled as some with Photoshop but I get by with what I have. If you ever want any designs or have ideas, throw them my way. I may print about 10 copies of this ticket for Autographs and maybe do some 50-50 with other traders.

Appreciate what you have done to ensure our freedom is protected by serving in the armed forces. Nice to hear you'll be home soon. Love the ticket you made. Here's wishing the best of luck to getting them signed when you get to go to the game upon your return to the States.

Being a DBacks fanatic.... I had to recreate the 2011 Season ticket since we hosted the All Star Game that year. Also, since Miguel Montero represented the hosting team, this only seemed fitting to have him on the ticket.

Quick Note: I attended the annotated game. It was Father's Day and I was home from deployment for R&R. It was a great game but the DBacks lost.

    Again, the example used....

    2011 Season Tkt.jpg

    And my creatation....

    2011_DBacks_Season_Tkt.jpg

This one took longer than the rest due to the diamonds at the bottom of the ticket.... who knew that a simple design would take about 1-2 hours of tedious work

    Thanx for the look,

    Hey everyone,

Well, it's been a minute since I have posted any new customs. Over the last couple of weeks, I hav decided to stick to replicating tickets.

Replicating tickets feels like recreating hisotry. No, my replicas are not EXACT but they are as close to the real thing as I can get to.

First up, I decided to branch out from the typical DBacks tickets.

'90 World Series A's vs Reds Game 1 at Oakland. Not a challenging design but all still the fun to replicate. I think this may fall more into the Reds category as they won that world series.
    90 WS.jpg

Second up, again, not a challenging design but a better year since the A's won the '89 World Series. I chose this early season game because it was the California Angels the A's beat in the playoffs.
    89_As.png

Third.... I hope you did not think I would stray too far from the DBacks... '02 Season ticket design. The hardest part of this whole ticket was the pinstriping and the "Bank One Ballpark" logo. The game annotated on this ticket is Randy Johnson's record-tying 20K game vs the Reds.

I have my tickets to the Alumni Game this year and if this comes out right and I can get Randy's signature, I think it would me more than worth the time spent.

    02 AZ.jpg

Fourth, an '03 Season ticket. Again, most of the DBacks early years were not challenging to replicate but this game date holds a special meaning. The annotated game date is the exact date I graduated from high school. The DBacks lost this game but it's not like I was attending the game to see them lose.

    03 AZ.jpg

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... This season has been terrible... just terrible. We have lost our veteran's to injuries throughout the season and the bullpen is just terrible, but as a loyal DBack fan I will stick by them. As I previously stated, I have tickets to the Alumni Game and to another one for my Birthday.

Why not make Nuno's debut ticket because he is the only shining addition we will likely get before the trade deadline?

This ticket was challenging in that it took more time getting the background correct than anything else.
    Nuno Debut.jpg

Anyways, hope you enjoyed the read and thanx for looking. There will be many more tickets to come. These 5 are may 1/10 of what I have been working on the last couple of months.
