Tyler Seguin Error Card 499 UD 104

Hey today I found out when pricing out my cards that I have an error card in my deck. Now I've tried to look this card up online and the only other one I have come across was being sold on Ebay for over $700 but was never sold. If anyone would be able to help me out here it would be great. The card is Tyler Seguin's rookie card made by Upper Deck, card number 104. The card is suppose to be out of 99 but mine is out of 499. Im also fairly new to this and this card was originally my fathers card and I don't know what else to do. Ive also taken it to 2 shops but know one can give me any answers.

Now it's hard to help because cards to identify them having a image or more info or both would help a lot. Upper Deck made 11 product in 2010-11, Seguin rookie year. So it could be any one or even a parallel, mainly not true rookie card but parallel iof the real rookie. So Upper deck does have a brand called Upper Seck Serie I and II, but they also have many other brand. Now if you look on the back of the card and on the bottom, you should see either 2010-11 Upper Deck or 2010-11 SPx or 2010-11 SP Game Used or some of the other product. That would really help us help you. A image of front and back of the card would even help more.

It is possible the card number is wrong, this as happen from time to time.

I seem to recall this being brought up a while back, not sure if this is the only thread https://www.sportscardforum.com/threads/1270584 that discussed it or if there were others, but it sounds like this was an error where ud produced both /99 and /499 versions.

Yeah both /99 and /499 versions of Seguin's ICE Premieres exist. I've seen more /99 than /499 in circulation so it seems the error variant is more scarce. No official information ever came from UD regarding this though so the actual print runs are a mystery to all. Value-wise it seems both are about equal albeit it may be a bit tougher to move the /499 variant. Regardless, it's a very nice card to have.

hey all just to re-fresh this form I do still have the card 10-11 Upper Deck Ice #104 Tyler Seguin/499 B RC which is a misprint for sure. Im still looking for a way to price this card. Unfortunately for me I think I may be looking for a buyer in the near future. Any information would be amazing I still cant find a decent buyer (was offered $200 the other day). Im pretty sure I wont be letting this card go for at least $600 if anything
