    Question for Boxing fans.

Has anyone ever watched the actual fight between Joey Giardello and Rubin Hurricane Carter, not the one from the movie Hurricane but the actual fight. The reason I'm asking is I'm just curious as to who you thought won and how you scored it. Thanks for opinions it might help solve an argument I'm having with a friend take care Steve.

Sorry did not see this thread. I barely remember this fight, but had Carter to relive his life over with a proper chance, then this fight would have had a different outcome.

Thank you for your reply, I saw the fight in the movie and I knew it wasn't that one sided for Carter but when I watched the actual fight I would've given the decision to Carter a close decision but I think he won the fight as he was the aggressor the whole way and landed the better blows, I scored it 7 rounds to 6 with 2 being even. I think if he would've won the title the rest of his life would've been different. I don't know if he was guilty of the triple murder in the Lafayette grill as a lot of evidence was found against him, but if he and John Artis were actually innocent there are 2 other people who committed the perfect crime in that they got away with it.
