Need last minute fantasy help!
I have a number of very tough decisions to make for my football fantasy team this week, and I would respect any/all advice on the matter.
1. Matt Ryan or Andy Dalton as starting QB?
- Ryan has been a huge letdown for me the last several weeks, and with injuries hurting his receiving options the most all year, is he able to bounce back against a weak TB team? Dalton has been more consistent over the last several weeks, and isn't having to deal with his key receivers (Green) being hurt... but Cleveland has a way of suckering teams into low-scoring boring affairs that result in poor fantasy production. Ryan is the better guy against a weaker team, but I have a feeling that Dalton will outscore him again this week. Right now, I cautiously have Dalton in as my starter.
2. Rashard Mendenhall or CJ Spiller as my starting RB2?
- It sounds like the coaches in Arizona want to give Mendenhall as many touches and as many opportunities to prove he's their number one guy as much as possible, but their other back putting up better numbers, how much can I count on Rashard to have a good week? It's the Jax defense, so the chance to break through and prove his naysayers wrong is strong for Mendenhall, but can he get 'er done? Spiller seems like the only respectable offensive option on an injury-depleted Bills team. Do the number of touches he's going to get outweight Mendenhall having pressure to have a big week against a bad team? I've got Mendenhall in there knowing that CJ is the better back, but I'd be open to arguments in favor of my putting Spiller back in.
3. Tony Gonzalez or Heath Miller as my starting TE
- Tony is hurt and shouldn't even be playing this week, but with so few other options for Matt Ryan, maybe he gets a few touches, or a few goaline TD catches to inflate his weekly production. I'm expecting a decent week from Miller, who has been getting better and healthier each week, and who could take advantage of a Lions D that gives up a ton of points and opportunities. I have Miller in over Tony right now on account of Tony's injury and Atlanta's fall from grace. It's just a safer play for me right now, but I love Tony, as old as he is.
4. Golden Tate or Percy Harvin as my WR3?
- With Calvin and Andre Johnson as my WR1 and 2, I have a luxury of wealth in the receivers department, but I need them to outplay my opponent's receivers every week to make up for other shortcomings. Golden has been fantastic lately, but Percy is a difference maker... does Golden get more targets out of respect and health, or does Percy push the Seahawks to a new level and establish himself as the guy Russell Wilson has been drooling over the chance to throw to since they brought him in? Obviously Percy is my guy going forward, but today, I wonder if Golden is still a better receiving option. I had Percy in there, but everyone I've spoken to thinks Tate will have a better week, so I made the swap. What say you?Last edited by ravens_creed; 11-17-2013 at 12:47 PM.

Mendy losing snaps to Ellington.
Harvin just coming back. Might be limited snaps.
Dalton having AJ and Gio (catching passes out of BF). Might be rainy/windy for the game, not many long passes?
