Question About early 2000s NHL Game Puck Program
Hey everyone,
I have had in my collection, a game-used 2002-03 Stanley Cup Final puck used in game five of the series for over a year and a half now. It is legitimate in every way as it came from Classic Auctions and also includes the official NHL hologram sticker on it (which has the authenticity serial number on it).
I only recently discovered that these pucks originally also came with a letter of authenticity detailing the game-use of the item, such as what period it was used in. The item did not come with that letter and the puck's use is mysterious to me. I know it has some value, dealing in game-used memorabilia myself, but its use can determine so much more and can either add to or reduce the value.
Can the details be found in a different way than through the LOA? Alternatively, can someone be contacted about getting either a replacement LOA or the information about it? I like to know everything about my memorabilia and this is no exception.

Pucks are bleeping fascinating. Got to love 'em! Soccer balls, golf balls, tennis balls? Nope. Pucks!

Find out the originator of the Holograms and who set this up. Then send them scans stating that you need a new COA for the puck. They should have all the info catalogued. If you cannot find out which company set this up, then call the NHL office and they can probably help you.

I posted this on another site and apparently it was Meigray that actually set this program up, so I sent them a message after finding out. Still awaiting a response...
