Lets see the "Republicans" here defend all this. More voter suppression seems to me.

I have no problem with voter ID laws. I take issue with the Republicans' motivation for this, and the fact it makes them hypocrites as per their constitution waving, and I definitely took issue with the timing during the election.
I have no problem with voter IDs, but I'm not bound to your constitution and, if I'm to take the second amendment as a guide, voter IDs should probably be considered suppression in the US.
Funny, Democrats want to cast their votes without interference.
Republicans want to shoot their guns without interference.
Very telling about the two groups, as groups. I wonder which the founding fathers would be more worried about...

A person who doesn't have the time to go during work hours to get that ID,
any legal job in the US requires either an ID or a birth certificate and ss card, which is what you need to get an ID. Also any bank that the teller does not personally know you requires an ID to cash that pay check.
beofre you say we can't force someone to buy anything, lets check a few facts,
how about we can force citizens to pay and file taxes, get car insurance, and now health insurance, but to say they need an ID and it went too far?
the hours is confusing, I don't see a purpose for those, but we can argue an ID all day.
also, if no ID is required why do we have to register to vote?

Actually the entire thing was not even about Voter ID in whole...
More so the Repugs in that state change voting laws to help ensure they say in power. By shorting or ending early voting. As well a Voter Law that you have to sign a affidavit stating uou are poor? and your vote May or may not be counted because your signed that statement and.
Not to be offensive but did you just miss that point?
I agree with geting an ID. Today you need IDs to do so many things. However, you cannot make so prohibitive to obtain the ID which several states have done.

Advice then would say read the article....
For some background the State Repugs there have been cutting early voting for several years. Since they gained majority there. If you saw the video you would see that early voting favors Democrats. Reason Democrats vote early is because MOST and I do mean a lot work a job that going to the polls on the first Tuesday in Nov is prohibitive. This last measure eliminates early voting on weekends.

Republicans are all about in person voter fraud. The real problem is actually advance and absentee ballots.
Democrats vote more in person the Republicans, and Republicans vote cast more advance and absentee ballots.
These are all fact, easy to look up. It's not hard to see why this is being pushed forward by the people doing it. It's to win at all cost and democracy bedamned.
That said, I have no problem with ID laws.

It's the same logic needed to believe a call for gun control is a call for a ban of all firearms.

You need an ID to buy guns, drive, get a job, and get welfare.
You need an ID to vote. Stupid to claim otherwise
