    Another new guy from ontario

    Hey guys, I used to collect cards back in the early 90s when i was a kid, but so did everyone, so basically worthless. Now I got kids of my own, so im starting to get back into it. This time with a little more knowledge. Thats why im here, to learn as much as i can. I figure I will focus on just football, and still on the fence on what brand. I grabbed a couple small boxes of 8 packs of prestige, and did pretty well. Then i grabbed 2 packs of prizms, didnt get much, then grabbed a single pack of upper deck and got an auto rookie(which doesnt actually seem to be that rare?). anyway, just thought I would drop in and say hello.

    Yes autographs and game used cards are much more common compared to the 90s. Now some are 1 or more per box or for the more pricey stuff 1 per pack.

    Welcome Mike, I'm a fairly new member as well.
    I, like you, collected a lot in the 90's to early 2000's then stopped. Since joining here, I've learned a lot about the recent years in the sportscard world from the members here. Got back into collecting, but not as heavy as i once did. Just focusing on 1 or 2 sets of hockey.
