Pittsburgh Injury List Continues to Grow

We hoped it would end with Crosby's string of injuries, including Makin's and Letang's...but this season, they continue.

Glass is out with a broken hand, Martin is out with a fractured tibia, and Bennett just got surgery for a hand-wrist matter.

We just can't get a break.

However, I am glad to see we have got Megna again.

Glass is basically the human shot blocker. lol. Plus he adds grit when we need it, something we sorta lost when Cooke left.

And Bennett has some good chemistry with Crosby and Kunitz. It's not a major loss, but a loss never the less.

I see whatcha mean, though. Out of the 3, Martin is the biggest.

Bennett misses more open nets than Dan Cleary, and Glass is younger than Cooke, but Cooke is an opportunist that can score when you least expect it. Glass still cannot shoot the puck, or pass the puck.

Won't disagree with the Glass comment. But Bennett is still young, he'll only get worse before he gets better. Same case with Maatta. They'll make some rookie mistakes.

Meh, the Pen's got a huge break when Fleury decided or was sent to a Sports Psychologist, so far so good, but the play-offs will be the true test...

Yeah but glass can block the puck, a lot, in rapid succession. Looks painful as hell to me lol. If he was going to suffer an injury my guess would have been to his legs.
