I have an opportunity to buy some sports photos as a lot and most of them are authenticated by the company St Louis Sports Collectors and I was wondering the credibility of there COA?

I have never purchased from them but they have a website you can order from and I use signingshotline.com and they have autograh guests listed on there all the time. Most or players from local Midwest and most often not huge names, but sometimes guys like Bob Gibson, or Musial did signings with them.

Just keep in mind that if you plan on selling them later, most people will want to see a JSA or PSA authentication on them. That doesn't mean don't buy them, but they are selling them cheap because they can't make more on them.

I live in St Louis and yeah St Louis Sports Co is VERY reputable. In fact this Saturday, the 7th, I'm going to an Ozzie Smith signing they are having at their Chesterfield store. Super stoked!

St. Louis sports collectors is a different company vs St. Louis sports co at the mall. Both very reputable though. Sports collectors does a lot of retired guys signings and the guy at the mall gets more current players to sign. I trust both!

Gysot- do u live in St Louis? I just moved here a few months back. Thank u for correcting me as to the difference between businesses. I've seen online things for both and always assumed they were the same people, glad to know the difference!. I have only bought from St. Louis sports co (the mall guys) so far, in fact just yesterday I bought a Oscar Taveras autographed baseball, JSA authenticated for $35, and like I said above, I'm going to the Ozzie Smith signing at the Chesterfield store on the 7th. If u live here, u going to the Ozzie signing? I'd like to meet a fellow collector here, maybe trade/buy some other items. Let me know!

RealBrian...I'll send you a PM. Just a FYI. Another great and reputable company in the St. Louis area is 3MonkeySports. They were doing shows/signings every other month and have partnered with St. Louis Co to do a Lance Berkman signing this month.

AWZ50...sent you a PM as well!
