Is Mario Tremblay Coaching The Habs Tonight ??
It's 6-0 for the Kings at the end of the 2nd.
Sheesh.
I'd say that Price was trying to do his best Patrick Roy impersonation before he was yanked, but that's not possible because Price is technically a better goaltender than Roy.

They were due for a bad one eventually. Sucks that it had to happen on a national broadcast. LOL

Not too surprising, a lot of Eastern teams can be rolling along against conference rivals, than fly out West and get a rude awakening, Even the Jet's are 8-2 vs the East, but can't making any ground against the Blues, Hawks, Kings Duck's etc...teams that kill everyone with relentless D play and attention to detail Every game.
Not sure one can pinpoint why a large group of Western Teams have stolen the play-book from the old Devil's style of tight checking. A few hard nosed coaches come to mind....Sutter and the "stare of death" for not back checking...lol, wow though, watching Hitchcock's Blue's is like watching paint dry, but winning is the name of the game...

That's exactly it... Pretty much all of the Western teams play playoff hockey in the regular season already. The Eastern teams are pretty sloppy in general, and it shows in the playoffs, especially in the first round.

After 19 points out of 20 possible, it's ok to lose. The problem is, they're is a way to lose and playing like they did is not an option.
But still... Losing 1-0 or 6-0, you still don't earn any standing points..
