Panini redemption replacement -------- is it equal value?
About a year and a half ago, I submitted for a 2011 Playbook Julio Jones AU.RC, MEM #/399 card. So last week I called and pressed numbers until I got a live person as the leaving my phone number and requests on the redemption site(many of those for months) were un answered and wasn't working (to my satisfaction I guess), the person gave me the same "he hasn't signed that product, don't know when" and etc. so I asked for a replacement (and 2 others that I also had been waiting for over a year, but they were minor). They actually responded really quick and I got the replacement today. It is a Rob Gronkowski 2010 rookie ticket autograph. Are they equal in value? Haven't looked up the Beckett values of either so I don't know. Just wondering.

What I preferred to have, or options, never came up in the discussion. He just stated equal value or better and I asked who determined that, and he said that Panini does.

I don't know what the Jones sells for but the Gronk goes for $30-$40 and probably will be worth less since he is injured again

Therein lies part of the issue I'm having. The Julio, I assume, had a much higher value when the product came out. Even when I redeemed it, it probably had a higher value than it does now because he is also now hurt and that rookie cards lose value over time (for the most part for most players). So should they give me a card of equal value now as compared to when I first redeemed it? I just got tired of not having anything at all.

Panini goes by BV....I guess someone still uses it
I never heard of anyone getting wax from replacing their Julio stuff. I think I got an AJ Green contenders for replacing my Julio awhile ago.

We're all crazy. We buy boxes of cards with an unknown result to get cardboard products with a picture of somebody you'll never meet, or a 1/2" x 1/2" piece of something to try and sell to somebody else (usually at a loss). I know it's comparable to gambling, but with collecting, you at least get something in the end, maybe not worth much, but it is something.

It's definitely possible on that.
They should of on every unsigned Julio. Those were some of the bigger hits of 2011 and instead they turned out to be nothing for 4-8 months.

The latest Beckett I have (January 2014) lists the Julio(/399) (interestingly not as an echange) at $ 40/80. The Gronk(/499) is also listed as $ 40/80. I have the white jersey version and it is not numbered is that better/worse/same?
