anybody catch the ERROR on the 2013-14 hockey heroes?

I don't know about you guys, but on the back of all of my hockey heroes 1980's cards (including the header) which i definitely pulled from 2013-14 series 1....it says 2012-13 series 2 hockey.

I imagine that these were created for series 2 last eyar (which never got released) and UD didn't want to pay to print new copies so they just threw them in. LAZY!!!

Probably a error as I don't think they already had printed them but maybe they did and took a business decision. If you are on a board of director and need to take decision about last year season and the strike effect, you often need to take such decision because you had plan staff for all 11 release and did not happen that way as we found out in last February. To me it does not change much to see this copy right due to the circumstances brought by the strike.

I have no problems with it but I see your point. If you already have X amount of cards printed out and ready to go why should you have to throw then out over a little error.

And the X amount is a really, really big number by the way.

Yeah, I can cut them some slack seeing as it would have cost a fair amount to re-print all of them over something so inconsequential. Also, it would just be a huge waste, and isn't everybody trying to stop wasting so many things?

Yeah, not an error. They were printed like this, last year, on purpose. What you suggest - they were printed last year for Series 2.... which was never made.... and are being inserted into this year's product, rather than making new ones, I would imagine is 100% correct.

Personally, I don't see the big deal. Doesn't take away from the look of the card, the continuation of the set, or the production run.
