    Question for buyers on here

When you are looking in a particular section or sport folder, is it best to have details of available cards that fit that specific area of interest?

For example let's say you are in the football buying & selling folder, would it make much of a difference if I included also in my post multiple sports like baseball, basketball, Nascar, etc?

I understand that perhaps when doing such it can tend to make for more work when scanning over a list?

So would it be best for both me the seller & you the buyer to simply include clickable links to other posts in other sports that you can decide to click on?

Or am I putting too much emphasis in this matter all together & on the flip side it actually gives you a bigger selection & opportunity to purchase more when my whole inventory is combined?

I know there are some buyers that are strickly after one sport while others collect across a spectrum of sports.

Then which route overall would be prove to be most effective, keeping a list to that said sport or combining all sports into one post?

    Your thoughts welcomed.

Baseball fans are not very likely to browse the football or basketball section looking for baseball cards. And cross posting the same thing across forums is discouraged. Split it up by sport and make separate posts in each section. But the linking to the posts in other sports is a good idea.

Thanks DaClyde, if that is encouraged & it sounds like good sense, then I will revise how I've been dealing.

One thing to add, and it's probably the minority, had one guy pick out $40 in football cards from a multi sport post in the baseball section.

Nope you aren't alone in that either. I get people all the time buying stuff from the multisport posts that don't correspond with the sport I posted it in. I had one of my largest purchases of baseball cards come from a multisport thread in the BASKETBALL selling forum.

I collect both baseball and football and even a little basketball, non-sport, and wrestling so I like to see what all someone has in one post. To me it saves time and I am more likely to buy cards from multiple sports from you. JMO......:)

Wow, I guess it's just me, then. Since I stopped collecting any other sports, I just stopped visiting the other forums entirely.

All in one, saves me time and less forum hopping, if I'm going to buy something and you make it easy for me chances are I'll buy something from you.
