Setting up at a Flea Market.

Just curious if anyone has set up at a flea market and had a little success. I'm moving soon and there are several of flea markets where I will be moving to in South Carolina. I figured I'd mostly set my cards up by either sets or teams. I have lots and lots of base, so I will be targeting the .10-.25 boxes. I will also plan on having a inserts/gu/auto box ranging from $10-$5 then a few other higher priced items. I realize it will take a lot of sales to pay for the table, but if I had enough inventory I don't think this would be to much of a problem on a busy saturday. The area is somewhat of a large tourist attraction so there are likely to be people interested in all teams. I also have several sports items I've been collecting since I was a kid, bobble heads, sports figures, magazines, die cast, hot wheels, and several other odds and ends toys.

Anyone have any luck doing this sort of thing? I know I've heard stories of people who do this or eBay for a living, and while that would be nice, I don't see myself being able to make $60k a year doing eBay, COMC, and Flea Markets.

I should also add that while I was just going to list everything on ebay or send it to comc I really don't have the time to list it on ebay and comc will get pricey with the money needed up front. Then I thought yard sale and just donate the rest to salvation army and they could use the profits to help support their causes. But then I got to thinking, I'm not paying for the move(from W. Texas to Myrtle Beach SC) so I'm not worried about the cost of moving everything, just have to worry about the lifting part, but I could use the workout.

EDIT: I just looked the indoor tables start at $14 a day so I'm sure at least breaking even wouldn't be a problem.

Setting up INDOORS would be best since you don't have to worry about the weather. Bring local teams (whatever teams are popular there) and local players from all sports because you are most likely going to get casual buyers. If you bring high end stuff make sure it is in something that can't be stolen (locked display case) or keep a watchful eye on the stuff because people DO STEAL unfortunately. Lastly I'd take stuff that can't really be shipped or costs too much to ship and try and sell it there since it will be easier to move versus on the Internet.
