Spring Training 50/50 Jupiter/ Port St Lucie
Hey everyone. I know its still early but I might possibly be going to Spring Training practices/games in both February and March in Jupiter and Port St Lucie. I have never been to Spring Training before and don't know how easy or crowded the Mets, Cardinals and Marlins facilities are. I would be willing to help people out on 50/50's for these teams, but I need a little advice or tips on where to go and what times. I am not 100% going, but i will definitely be in Florida at that time, so depending how accessible these teams are, the more of a chance I'll go. Feel free to message me if you are interested. I would just want to 50/50 cards or unique items. Thanks
Evan

I'm interested if you do end up going. I don't have any tips for FL spring training as I've only been to AZ. I have assorted stuff from 2010-2013 to offer (bowman, heritage minors, pro debut, regular topps).

I've done the Jupiter/Port St. Lucie trip 5 straight years now, but I will not be going this year.
The main tip you need to know about Port St. Lucie is to go the games early. I'm talking like 9:30-10:00 for a 1:00 game to go to the practice facility. Glass barricades prevent a lot of visiting and home players to sign in the stadium, so I would definitely recommend going to the practice facility behind the stadium before the games. There are 7 fields full of Mets minor and major league players that do lots of signing if you are patient. I have got Harvey, Santana, and Wright through this method.
In Jupiter, graphing is much easier. Again, before the games the Marlins and Cardinals practice behind the stadium and do some signing... but in stadium and post game is a much better idea. The areas next to the dugouts and over the dugout on either side for the Marlins and Cardinals are good spots- it has brought success for me. Finally, we come to the post-game graphing. The Cardinals lot is gated off, so you can only get guys while they are in their cars, and this never works. The Marlins lot is also fenced off, but first the players exit the clubhouse and walk past the fans to get to their car. Definitely bring flats because a ball will usually not fit through the fence! While using this method I have got autographs one of my favorite autographs, which is from Mike Stanton.
All that being said, if you go I'd love to send you some Mets minor league stuff!
