Who have you gotten TTM, expecting to make HOF!

This years and next years HOF ballot is loaded! I know that some guys like Clemens and Sosa will be a long wait due to PED issues, but guys like Maddux and Biggio are musts in my mind. Who out of the long list of quality candidates have you requested and received autographs from?

I have kind of a unique answer -- Minnie Minoso. Years ago, there was more momentum behind him for enshrinement through the Veterans Committee. It has never happened for him though.

As for Maddux, I'd love to get an autograph on a ROMLB w/HOF inscription. Steiner is charging an arm and a leg for it, so I'm passing on it until -- or if -- Maddux's price comes down.

Sent off to Biggio TTM earlier this year where he coaches but no return yet. Sent to two different addresses for Mussina, no return yet. Sent off to Jeff Kent as well with no return.

I'm likely waiting until signings later on and hopefully with PhotoFile HOF composite photos like they have done with years past.

That said, I have TLR, Torre, and Cox on cards. Cox was obtained online with a COA from JSA. I sent an 8x10 to TLR before the holidays with a $10 check. After paying another $40 donation through the ARF website, I was able to get it inscribed with HOF 2014 along with a personal inscription.

I was shocked to see predictions that Maddox, Glavine, F. Thomas and Biggio all to make it this year. Glavine was more of a fringe HOF shot to me than so many others on the ballot! Should this be the HOF class then I have gotten none of these guys via TTM and I tried so many times for Maddox! Congrats to those who had added him over the years via mail! I still think Trammel should be in among others!

I just remembered that I have Glavine and Smoltz on baseball cards that were certified by JSA or PSA.

If I don't add them at one of the signings this year, I'll do so down the road within a year or two.

I was lucky to get Maddux & Glavine IP on a Braves team ball in 1993. Bobby Cox told me he would be right back and of course never did. I got Mussina TTM on a ROMLB & several pics in 08 & 09 ($10 for Little League). I have also gotten Tony LaRussa on pics both IP & TTM. My most unexpected was Joe Torre on a ROMLB during 2012 ST. I was the only one standing by the Marlins clubhouse entrance when he came walking by and I nicely asked if he would sign a ball for me. He signed it on the SS without having to ask for it. I got Clemens IP at Allianz Golf Tourn in 2011 & just missed getting him again last ST by less than 5min when he walked out the Marlins complex after they played the Astros (lol - he signed for the 5 people that were still there).

I got Schilling before but not ttm, I got him IP back in 2005 after a game in Detroit at Comerica Park. I was by the team bus and was getting passed up by ALL the Sox (except Roberto Pettigine lmao)...well Schilling is walking out, and some drunk beside me starts to shout obscenities at Schilling (who was on DL at the time). Curt came over to the fence and said, "Why don't you take your drunk behind back home. There is a ton of kids around, so how about you show some class and watch your mouth". At that point a reached my ball and sharpie (I know, sharpie on a ball =stupid lol) and said "Thank you for the ring Schills". He grabbed the ball, smiled and signed my ball, side paneled. Then asked if he could use my sharpie to sign a few more. Finishes signing, hands me my sharpie back, says "Thanks bud" and gets back on the bus...Personally I think Schilling is a fringe HOFer, but those post season stats will propel him in. But if he don't make it, he only has himself to blame. He's not very liked for obvious reasons. I only like him because I'm a Red Sox fan. If I wasn't, I'd hate him too lol
