Prizm Exclusives: Blue vs Red
I have had little or no trouble selling my Red Prizm and Red Pulsar Prizm cards (Target only) on eBay. the prices have not soared, but there is interest in them.
The Blue Prizms and Blue Pulsars (Walmart) are a different story. Maybe I just got an awful breaks, but I've listed several Blue parallels and am not even getting a sniff!
I will say that the majority of Red parallels have been sold to buyers in Canada and overseas. Are there Target stores in Canada? Maybe Walmart is more common than Targets? I guess that could account for the North 'O the Border interest in the reds.
Anyone else see this come up?Hidden Content

Target is relatively new in my part of the Canadian world, and they were VERY slow in getting Prizm in stock at first. Wal-Marts are almost as populous as Starbucks here. I found it dead easy to get my Kesler blues but the red and especially the red pulsar was near impossible!
There's only three Targets in all of Saskatchewan, two in Newfoundland, and four in Manitoba........if you don't live in one of the big cities you're pretty much buying off the interweb :/

I think that's it. There's a Walmart in almost every city here in Canada now, but there are only a few Targets. At my closest Target, I bought the last couple of rack packs before xmas and they are still not back in stock. I also bought a few Blasters. I like the red parallels better than Blue.
So, I think that's why most are selling - as people can't get them at Target or have a Target close by.
As an aside - stopped by Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday and they had a shelf of Prizm blasters... wonder what colored Prizms are found inside. Didn't have a chance to read the box to see.

Target is only starting to have store in Quebec. Mainly this is why they sell well and they hit the market much later so many are still chasing them were as blue were available right on the first break of blaster. So easy to get.

Guess that is why I have a huge stack of reds, going to Target too much, maybe I should put em on ebay...

I only bought from Target as the WalMarts around me are pretty gross. Outside of established veterans I've had issues moving most of them at 99 cents each.
I have a Tinordi pulsar :)

Interesting...I've bought a lot of both and decided to try to build the Blue Pulsar set (I'm at 148/300) since I think the Blues are prettier than the Reds. I should probably go ahead and put the Reds up for sale/trade and just keep a few rainbows of players I like. I had decent success selling Greens during the first few weeks of retail release, but haven't tried putting many others up yet.
LUKE - I have a Desharnais Red Pulsar available - FREE in a PWE to you if you want it, since you do a lot of good work for the site. Just set up a trade in TM!
