8x10 Question

Hey guys-
I'm not necessarily new to the TTM world but I haven't sent one out in a little over a year. I want to start back up again but I don't want to have to spend a lot of money on supplies and especially stamps. I like the way signed 8x10's look, but I feel like it will be expensive to get the supplies and stamps because it weighs a lot more. Do you have any suggestions as to how to send them out cheaper if possible or maybe send out smaller pictures? Thanks a ton. Can't wait to start up again.

I agree 8x10s look great but 5x7s look pretty good too and are much cheaper to print and you can fit them in a 6x9 envelope which only needs one forever stamp so thats nice

5x7s served me well for TTM. 8x10s in a rigid toploader or cardboard require 3-4 forevers both ways.

8X10's arnt that bad to send out. It puts you about 4 stamps back each way, plus if you buy supllies in bulk you will save a lot of money.

I've been saving boards from prior ebay purchases and use those for the inner envelope. It's 3 stamps each way. Most of my 8x10s are ordered from AdoramaPix unless I go through PhotoFile or find an unsigned photo that I like on Ebay.

Thank you for the quick replies. I am going to try sending out 5x7's because they require less stamps. How do you suggest I go about making and printing them? Should I make them myself then print them out on photo paper from Staples? Thanks-SimonB32

Find photos on Google then print at adormapix an online store and they have by far the best quality pics. It will cost you about 86 cents a pic.

Do you reccommend the Photo Editor on fotor.com?

I have personally never used it so I am not sure. For my photos I just upload them to adormapix crop if need be and be done with it. If you are into editing photos there are some great people on this forum that can help you with that.
