Need some help ....found some 86 Fleers

I have some 86 Fleer cards that I dont know what the value is.
Whats the best way to find an honest answer. They are not rated
and I dont know if they are worth paying for the grading.

I dont believe that I have stumbled on anything of extreme value. The cards
are in good shape but i would guess that the odds of having 9-10s are slim.

Would a local cardshop here be able to help me?

I am interested in selling but might be tempted to give them to my nephews.
Just looking for value. What are some things to look for on the cards
to better understand the shape they are in?

BTW-- I am in the Inland Empire area of SoCal about 40 miles from LA
if there are any good shops to go by.

You could go to a card show & get some dealers' opinions on the grades.

You could also scan a picture for some of us to look at here, and see if they are worth grading. Specifically Olajuwon & Isiah Thomas.

I think I might try Frank and Sons this weekend. I really dont believe that
any of these cards will grade really high. The reason is that I just dont think
I can find some cards in a drawer after 20 years of moving and shaking and
them be in top shape.

I am willing to part with any or all of them once I see what they are worth. I am not out to ron anyone and will give those from this board a better deal than off the street. I appreciate being able to step into your world and
get some quality info.

At one time both my sister and myeslf had a complete set each of these
cards. This is all that remains unless we uncover some at a later date. I wish I still had those sets in top shape!


Just curious but I might go check out a card shop here. I always buy something when visiting even if its just a couple packs that I giveto my
nephews. What is hot right now? What should I by and take a chance on getting something great?

Washington Wizards
Washington Redskins

I do not care about the value at all. I am going to give them to my nephews
who are 10-8-6 so they really dont need anything of value.
They live near Washington DC now but I would love to get something from the other two if you have something.
I just got them each a Ronnie Brown card from the Fins. They are getting to be big fans of them.
They are also Auburn Tigers fans and love to follow the players as they leave school.
