Seriously desperate for cash

Thanks so much guys. Yes John, leaving my boys is my ultimate fear, and one that is all too close. As a father I know you can imagine how scary that is. We always worry that something terrible might happen to one of them, but the fear on this side nearly equals that.

If there is one positive thing that comes out of this it's that my boys will be checked at an early age and they will be able to avoid this and hopefully live long happy lives.

I'm sorry to hear that things don't seem to be getting better. I know it's been a while since we've been in touch, but I just wanted to send you my best wishes. Also, I just sent you $10 via paypal. Definitely cheaper and less dangerous than sending you 3 gallons of gas in the mail! I hope that there is much better news on the horizon, and don't ever even think about paying me back. You're one of the greats on this site, and the outpouring of affection towards you is indicative of the love and generosity that you've shown all of us over the years.

Been months since I've posted on here, but something told me to come to SCF again even though I've been strapped for cash for months now and can't trade. Just wanted to let you know, though I usually just lurked on here you may have seen me around, but I've definitely noticed the great impact you've had on this website and your kids. I think it was you who got on Beckett for your collection and included your wonderful children in the picture. I mean you can obviously tell by all of the responses and support you are getting that you have great influence on many people! Wish I could send ya something, but I'm on a full time clinical rotation far away from home... Just wanted to wish you the best of luck, and remember it ain't over till the fat lady sings and I think she'll be choking down hotdogs for a while, no worries mate stay strong and best wishes!

Thank you so much guys, everyone has been just so incredible about this. I showed my wife last night and she just cried. This has been so difficult on her behind the scenes. She has had to put her life on hold to go to appointment after appointment and sit through chemo sessions (29 of them thus far). She also had to go back to school in case she is left to raise the kids alone.

We thought we had it beat in 2012 and it came back worse in March 13. Then I got clean scans in June and again in September and we were feeling better and then I started feeling kind of bad a while before Christmas and then this. It has been a roller coaster for sure.

My doctor called me yesterday (my actual dr, who has never called me) and said I have been approved for a clinical trial. So if surgery at UVA isn't an option (and I pray that it is) then I'll go on this medicine and be one of the first people in the US to take it. Scary, but you do what you have to do. She is scared to death about that as well.

Anyway, just my continued thanks for all your help and support, you don't know how much it means.
