    Printing 5x7'sc

    Hey guys,
I've decided I want to send out 5x7's to players instead of cards. Once I have the picture saved at the 5x7 size, can I just insert 5x7 photo paper into my printer and print it? If not, what do you suggest I do?

    Thanks,
    SimonB32

Thank you for sharing. I would prefer to not spend money on paying per pic printed. I'd rather go to staples and get 5x7 printing paper so I can just load it in and print from there. I feel like it would be cheaper in the long run.
    Thanks again,

I highly second Adorama. It may be slightly more expensive but their photos turn out great.

I just got my first order from Adorama because someone here mentioned it and I thought I would try it. Pretty pleased with the results. 8x10s at my CVS were 4 bucks each, here they are under 2 so it makes up having to pay for shipping.

Hey Riggs how is sharpprints for quality?

amazing quality. There all i use anymore. very fast shipping ( 2 days tops for me, i'm in Iowa ), not sure where Sharpprints is out of. You cant tell the difference between Sharprints & adoramapix side by side. Even a walgreens print is equal. I dont see a difference. They use Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper also. Same stuff you would get at Walgreens. Here are an example of the pictures..

One thing with Sharprints i dont like is there upload system. I have had many pics with a 1500x1500 resolution & there system has suggested NOT to go any bigger then a 5x7 size. Bottom line with sharpprints, If you know your picture resolution then your fine, Just have to ignore there alerts.

8x10's ship for a flat fee of $7.98. I have an order showing up today with 30 8x10's for little over $31 shipped. I think thats a pretty good deal.

Wow thats pretty amazing its that cheap! I think I just found my new site. So just for clarification on the resolution, If I have a 1100X1300 photo will they still print that then and will it come out as a good 8X10? I was just a little confused on that.

Here is a screen shot of what im talking about.. This is the screen that will show up when you select the size you want to order

This photo im using has a resolution size of 1280x1920, Clearly big enough for 8x10 but with there system, Only suggest no bigger than 6x6 for some reason. If i wanted to order this photo the site wouldnt stop me from selecting 8x10 or even 12x12 if i wanted. Just merely suggest what size they recommend. Going in when ordering your pictures, Just know what size resolution your photo is. If its bigger then 1000x1000, i wouldnt hesitate to place the order.
