Photobucket - more experimenting and forced beta-updates?

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who noticed that Photobucket was up to their old tricks again today, (temporarily?) forcing a change in format on everyone. I'm not sure what they're doing, as I couldn't find a news article or post about it, but I did notice a small "full site" link at the bottom of some pages which will restore the site to "normal" if you are having troubles weeding your way through this new format mess, as I was.

Yeah its terrible. I hat photobucket but its the easiest way for me.

I can honestly say that 90% of my photobucket use is to avoid putting photoshop on my computer because, well, bucket does what I need and it's there.

that's the reason i've moved the flickr.com it's just as easy and 10X nicer than photobucket.

Hey Jon, you're right your flickr looks great, just a few questions: Can you mass upload, and then organize the scans in custom/alphabetical order like on photobucket?

Oh photobucket..... YUCK! That site has become a mess!

I started using SkinnyG's site, and I am finding it works the way I want it to. I have to upload more traders yet before I link it in my signature, but the ease of use he has set it up makes it simple.

Yes you can, it takes a little bit to figure the site out but once you do it's very easy to organize the way you want it. If you decide to make the switch feel free to pm me if you need any help getting started.

Is drives me crazy that Photobucket cant leave well enough alone and keeps changing things. It used to be clean, easy, and reliable. Now it changes every other week and it's starting to get bloated.

Since last week I can no longer pull up the site on my work computer. All I get is blue hyperlinked text. Their help site calls it a CSS packet issue but, all of their suggestions don't work. SO, I can no longer post or see linked buckets during my lunch hour (my main time to see what's going on!) VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have also defected to flickr. I find it extremely user friendly.
