2014 Spring Training success thread!

I am sending a ball to Alex Meyer tomorrow, seems like Twins are really going all out for their fans. Buxton is signing, Meyer is signing. Could be prime spot to send!

Yeah, I hate this time of year as whenever I say I am done I see a return I would like and mail off a few more. After seeing Buxton come in for some I am sending to Moran, Eddie Butler, Austin Meadows, Mark Appel, Kris Bryant, Marcus Stroman and Buxton on Tuesday!

Meyer's great. Signed in season last year--took all of 11 days for my 8x10 to come back signed and personalized.

I've got a few prospects I'm keeping fingers crossed for to come back. I sent to Buxton, Taillon, Bryant, JP Crawford, Meadows, Syndergaard and a few others. The success I had with Buxton has really made me happy, so regardless how the rest plays out, it's gonna be hard to be disappointed. I sent out 25 baseballs, a few I'm sure I'll get back (Wacha, Wong, Kershaw-next Feb lol-)a few former managers that I know I'll get (Lasorda, LaRussa), so getting Buxton was the icing on an already sweet cake. But I made sure I saved 5 SASEs just in case I seen a few good returns that motivated me. Sure enough, seeing Meyer and Piscotty successes have made me send 2 more. Down to 3 SASEs left, and still a ton of high hopes. Still can't believe I thought my Buxton was Bryce Brentz at first! I Label all SASEs with the players initials, and obvi Brentz n Buxton have the same. Brentz told me on twitter he'd sign for me, so that's who I thought it was. Totally shocked when it was Bux instead! Made my day lol...But yeah, Meyer is going out tomorrow, still considering Piscotty as well. I'll update I'm sure

I might send to just a few more prospects. I'm in no rush to send my 8x10 to Kershaw! Baseball requests are taking up my priority with my 9x12 and 10x13 envelopes.

Also felt insprired to send a Heritage Minors out to Meyer and Buxton. Hopefully I'm not too late!

This is my first year of doing spring training TTM, and I've done the same thing. Originally planned on 40, now I'm up to 58!

The "trick" to getting Buxton this spring from what I can see is to send a baseball or 8x10 photo. Between SCF and SCN, I've not seen a single card get signed amongst requests being sent to ST.

I was curious about Buxton too........I was gonna hold off and bank on him playing for either New Britain or Rochester in 2014........wondering if I should change that thinking and send the card now?
