Nice job you did pretty good, getting Santana is always a good day IMO.

Yeah, I can't be too disappointed; just shows how different things are in the Majors compared to the AA/AAA stuff I do. And I think it was just a bad luck day since a lot of guys that are decent signers completely ignored.

Went up to Akron for the first time this season to see the RubberDucks (what a terrible name) play the Harrisburg Senators. Focused all my efforts on Akron because there were quite a few guys I needed and managed to knock most of it out, despite being surrounded by kids.

Francisco Valera 1/1 8x10 Logo Sheet
Cody Anderson 1/1 8x10 Logo Sheet
Will Roberts 1/1 Card
Justin Toole 1/1 Card
Toru Murata 2/2 Cards
Joey Wendle 1/1 Card
Ronny Rodriguez 2/2 Cards
Tony Wolters 3/3 Cards
Kyle Crockett 1/1 8x10
Francisco Lindor 1/1 8x10

All-in-all, a pretty dang solid day. Lindor wouldn't sign before the game; I got him going into the clubhouse from the field right after the game. Clearly didn't wanna sign, didn't even look at the photo while he signed, and that's why it didn't turn out perfect. Still looks nice enough to keep me happy, though. :)!
Tyler Naquin ignored on the way out to warm-up and said no on the way in from warm-ups; very pleasant. Other than him and Bryan Lahair, who I didn't see at all, I got everyone I was really after. Pretty excited about getting Kyle Crockett, the Indians fourth round pick from 2013, who is on the fast track to the Majors; I think he'll be the closer for the Tribe sooner than later.
Like I said, can't complain too much after a haul like this! Only bummer is how tough Lindor and Naquin already are, especially since I'm an Indians fan.

Made it back down to Columbus for the first time in about a month to see the Durham Bulls come into town, as well as Jason Kipnis on rehab. Didn't bother chasing Kipnis pregame (and he left way too early to get postgame), but still had a very strong day on the autograph front.
CC Lee 1/1 Indians Team ROMLB
Jesus Aguilar 1/1 Indians Team ROMLB
Vinnie Pestano 1/1 Indians Team ROMLB
Jerry Sands 3/3 Cards
Nathan Karns 2/2 Cards (got him charting)
Wilson Betemit 2/2 Cards
Hak-Ju Lee 2/2 Cards
Enny Romero 2/2 Cards
Danny Salazar 2/2 8x10, ML Debut Ticket, 2/3 8x10s

Like I said, not a bad day at all. Hak-Ju Lee came over without being asked and was really cool. Salazar did the first two for me, I let everyone else go, and asked if he had time for any more; he said he'd do two more, so that was cool. I've got a small little collection of Indians signed ticket stubs from their debuts. Karns was charting a few rows back, so when the game ended, I ran up and got him.
That team ball is coming along nicely, too. Going back for a game sometime during the Charlotte series, so hopefully I can finish that up. Also got two of each of the Betemit and Hak-Ju Lee cards, for what it's worth.

Was fortunate enough to spend my Memorial Day down in Columbus at a baseball game where the Charlotte Knights game to town. Jason Kipnis was finishing up his rehab, it was Dime-a-Dog night, a free hat giveaway, and a beautiful day for a ballgame. Even got to spend the day hanging out with jimfalbo21 and his friend, so everything was set-up perfect. The autographs went pretty well, too...
Blake Wood 1/1 Indians Team ROMLB
Joel Skinner 2/2 Cards
Gorkys Hernandez 1/1 Card
Blake Tekotte 1/1 Card
Carlos Sanchez 1/1 Card
Tommy Hanson 1/2 Cards
Josh Phegley 4/4 Cards
Maikel Cleto 2/2 Cards
Kyle Davies 1/1 Card
Frank Herrmann 4/4 Cards
Vinnie Pestano 2/2 Cards
Matt Davidson 1/2 8x10, 1/1 8x10
Jason Kipnis 1/1 8x10, 1/1 Indians Team ROMLB

So, there it is, one of my best nights of the season: an All-Star from my favorite team (twice!), the Futures Game MVP, a former Indians manager, and several other solid autographs. I think getting Kipnis twice was just the absolute right place, right time situation both times. I got lucky and couldn't be much happier!
My team ball is actually about filled up as well after getting Blake Wood and Kipnis on it. There's room for maybe two or three more signatures, which shouldn't be much of an issue at all. Just gonna be a matter of getting Francona on it to really finish it!

Thanks! I've had some pretty good luck lately.
Good to see you're still around, and thanks for the nice words! I had almost forgotten that you're the one who got me hooked on baseball 'graphing and going to Clippers games...if there's ever anything I can do to make up for that, let me know. My PM Box is always open!
