I've been buying the ROMLBs that are sold inside the UV cases. I figure, what good is the ball without something to protect it? I've been buying them at Dick's since October. Using the card, I have collected points. Setting aside the points you accumulate, sometimes there are sales like on Black Friday. There is also a free shipping threshold. Ultimately, buying ROMLBs is not super cheap but I have found it's a way to save some money.

If you can find a good price at a local outlet store wholesale, you can get a dozen balls for around 140.

The best I've found for ROMLBs, in their case, is $133 per dozen. My local Walmart is gonna start carrying them on 1-31-14 and online the price is listed at $10.87 each. I may just buy them out the first day and stock up. Seems to be the best deal I can find overall. To bad they are sold out online or I'd buy them now lol

I went to their website, typed "Rawlings Baseball" into their search bar. It brought up 20 or so options. Clicked on the real ball/cube. Then went to where it says "ship to my store" or something similar. It said like "no items at your store" so I clicked search stores, found one that had them, compared, and then it told me when they would be at "My Store"...

I just picked up 3 dozen at a Walmart as well. I printed out the online price sheet and they matched it in store. Not all stores are carrying them so check online first to see if your local store is.

A question for the guys who are buying dozens of ROMLBs at a time: How are you storing the balls once it's autographed? I'm open to feedback on this, but just getting the ball is like 85% of the battle. I also like having a UV case.

The ones on walmart for 10 bucks come with a UV case. The MLB changed over to UV cases a few years ago for the retail balls.
If you buy the cases of balls in little cardboard boxes, they don't have a cube obviously. You can get UV cases for those for 2-3 bucks a piece on ebay if you buy in bulk.

It says my local walmart will get them in a week (2-5-14).
I bought 4 from a walmart near my mom's house, but that was all they had.

Thats awesome that they will price match it in store with the online price ad. Thanks for the heads up, that'll help a lot..
to the "how do you store them" question- I typically get them in a case already and just keep them in a closet until I get them signed. After they are signed I put them back in the case, and display them in my man cave.
