13-14 Upper Deck series 2 question. To complete or not to complete?
Hello all,
Well, I'm a Valeri Nichushkin YG canvas card from completing many of the 13-14 Upper Deck series 1 sets. I've completed:
Base set w/ all young guns
MVP set
Hockey heroes set
Canvas set w/ all young guns
It's been fun putting together, but don't know if I have it in me to do the whole series 2 set and sub sets listed above (if there are similar sub sets in series 2).
My question to you all is: Is it worth it to try and put together both series 1 and 2? Or would the value of series 1 on its own be able to stand on it's own? What would you all do?
Thanks for your thoughts!

It would be cool to complete series one and two. Imagine the combined value (not to mention the beauty) of both completed sets!

If you don't want to finish the whole kit and caboodle, at least finish the base with YG's set. It'd be a shame to make it this far and not see it through to the end!

Greetings:
I agree with in completing the set afterall I recall doing just the 1994 Upper Deck All-Time Heroes parallel set when if ya open boxes you would on an average get 2 of another insert call Next-In-Line that were limited to like 2,500 but not serial #'d like most things are now & there was like 20 in the set & I had pulled 6 already. Anyways so a friend told me I should go for it lucky I did cause now when I first bought off ebay the Derek Jeter for $3 at the time (in 1998 it was a $5 card) I thought I did fair but now that card is $120.00 so its good thing to finish it cause had I not finished it I be wondering why I missed out on that when I started the set. Also you will have a future trade w/me possibility if you make the O-Pee-Chee Update Set if UD descided to add them from what I've heard they're thinking of doing that so if they do lmk & that's what I'm interested from the Series II boxes only I've despised UD in the past for doing this to try to finish off my set needs on various other products they've done like that. So keep me informed and thanks & G'Luck on finishing your Canvas Set."Any ballplayer that doesn't sign Autographs for little kids Ain't an American. Thanks for the comments all. I will probably go ahead with trying to complete both series. I hope UD will release a checklist soon so I can see what I'm getting myself into. The canvas PoE cards usually appear in series 2 and those can be a handful.

Go for it !!!!!
But be aware the complete Series 2 canvas set includes 20-30 SSP ( Vets and POE 1 in 196packs ) and in some cases SSSP like the 2 I need for 2011-12.
